Anada

Anada brought genuine Spanish cooking to Brunswick Street at a time when "Spanish restaurant" in Melbourne meant frozen paella. Owner-chef Jesse Gerner spent years researching in Spain, and it shows: the jamón is carved to order, the boquerones are house-cured, and the wine list runs deep into Jerez and Rioja. The room is warm and noisy in the way that makes you want to stay. A neighbourhood restaurant that happens to be one of the best Spanish kitchens in the country.
